Our Story

We are the Menser Family. We stepped into the world of foster care in early 2020 by becoming a licensed foster family with Guilford County in North Carolina. Our eyes were opened to the incredible needs of this community and we were forever changed. Over the past several years we have worked to support other foster families, social workers, and the families of those with children in foster care.

Every day, children and families touched by foster care face challenges that no one should face alone. We exist to remind them that they’re not forgotten, and that hope can be restored when a community comes together.

Little While House brings connection where there’s isolation and encouragement where there’s exhaustion. We walk alongside social workers, foster families, biological parents, and community partners—because everyone has a part to play in helping to restore families.

Our Mission

To encourage social workers, empower parents, and engage community partners to create lasting change.

Our Vision

We envision a world where families are restored, social workers are uplifted, and communities unite to support them both — creating a foundation of hope, healing, and lasting strength for generations to come.

At Little While House, we believe it takes a village not only to raise a family—but to restore one.
